The processor is the smallest part of the computer that actually performs almost all the tasks of the computer. It is commonly named the Central Processing Unit (CPU). Different CPU?s have different processing speed. The speed of the processor is measured in Megahertz (MHz) or Gigahertz (GHz). It all depends on what you want your computer to perform and what kind of programs you want to load your system with. If you will be running heavy programs, then it is recommended to consider a processor with a higher speed. N/B : Today with advances in computing technology, we have systems with more than one processor such as DUO core to facilitate multi-processing technique. Random Access Memory (RAM) this is another important specification to consider. When a program is running, it is using the available computer RAM. The RAM is measured in megabytes (MB) or gigabytes (GB). 1000MB is equal to 1 GB. The bigger the RAM of your computer the more programs and files can be handled at the same time. Yahoo shareholder pushes for its board nominees
NEW YORK (AP) ? One of Yahoo's major investors is urging shareholders to vote its four nominees on to the Internet company's board, launching a potentially nasty fight to transform its direction.
Hedge fund Third Point LLC, which has a 5.8 percent stake in Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Yahoo Inc., said it thinks the struggling company would fare better if its representatives were in the boardroom helping overhaul Yahoo.
Third Point's letter, released in a regulatory filing Wednesday, comes a week after the hedge fund said it would launch a campaign to get its four nominees on the board if the Yahoo's management didn't accept them.
The proposed directors are Daniel Loeb, the hedge fund's manager; former NBC Universal CEO Jeff Zucker; former MTV Networks executive Michael Wolf and turnaround specialist Harry Wilson.
The company's board is in the midst of changes. Of the 11 directors, four, including Chairman Roy Bostock, have said they will step down at Yahoo's annual meeting, which is usually held in late June. The departures are part of an attempt to placate shareholders frustrated with a long-running financial funk that has depressed the company's stock price.
The company also appointed two new directors to its board last month.
But Third Point's letter said that the appointed directors were not in the best interests of Yahoo, and the board still lacked expertise in the media and entertainment industries, as well as in corporate restructurings.
Yahoo shares added 8 cents to $15.49 in premarket trading Wednesday. Shares have ranged from $11.09 to $18.84 in the past 12 months.

What is a Trademark Specimen Acceptable to ... - Traverse Legal, PLC
==================TRANSCRIPT FOLLOWS===================
MARK TRADEMAN, TMIN NEWS ANCHOR:
Like most applicants, you?re probably wondering, ?What in the world is a specimen??? The easiest way to think about it is this: a specimen shows how you actually use the mark in commerce in connection with your goods and services.
For example, if you have applied for goods, you?ll want to submit a picture of the mark on a label or hang-tag that is attached to the goods.? Packaging that shows the mark is also acceptable.
By way of illustration, let?s say your goods are ?t-shirts.?? You could submit a digital photograph of the mark appearing on a hang tag.? You could also submit a digital photograph showing a close up of the mark appearing on the t-shirt label.
If your goods are ?plates,? for example, you could show use of the trademark on the goods themselves.? Please note, however, that when the mark is used on the goods themselves, the mark should appear where and how consumers expect to see a trademark, and not merely as a decorative or ornamental design.
Also remember that advertising brochures, business cards, invoices, and other internal and marketing materials are not acceptable specimens for goods.? You must show use of the mark on the goods themselves or on the packaging for the goods.
For services, on the other hand, advertising and marketing materials are acceptable, so long as the mark is shown being used in the advertising or providing of the services.? For example, if your services are ?Imprinting messages on t-shirts,? you could submit a screenshot of your website.? You could also submit photographs or scanned copies of your marketing materials.? Many different types of materials are acceptable as specimens for services, so long as the mark is shown being used in the advertising or providing of the services.
Don?t confuse the two, as the specimens for goods and the specimens for services are not the same.? Goods specimens show the mark on the goods or packaging; services specimens show the mark in the advertising or providing of the services.
And as before, remember that a specimen is not the same thing as a drawing.? A drawing shows what the mark is; a specimen shows how the mark is used.
Feel free to replay this video and click on any of the links within the form for more information. And keep an eye out for more of these videos throughout the website.? I?m Mark Trademan, Trademark Information Network.
